The Fan Who Became Rocky

During the Eagles' championship season Nick attended games in a Rocky-inspired American-flag robe and boxing gloves. A photograph by Matt Rourke of the Associated Press ran in the team's official Super Bowl 52 commemorative publication, printed beside Sylvester Stallone's line about Philadelphia's fighters. The published spread does not name the fan, so the identification is Nick's own. By his own firsthand record, the outfit also appeared in five media settings during that stretch: Monday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, the Eagles' Super Bowl and championship video, the ESPY Awards, and Eagles hype videos. The Fire Truck That Brought Santa Back to Broomall

Official Marple Newtown School District board minutes dated December 7, 2020 corroborate that the Marple Civic Association Santa drive-by took place that month. According to Nick Reynolds's firsthand account, the local fire department was not conducting its usual Santa rounds that year, so he personally paid for and purchased a vintage ladder truck in Villas, near Cape May, New Jersey, so children in Broomall could still see Santa. A nighttime photograph from the family archive documents the decorated truck with Santa aboard and community participants riding along. A saved marketplace screenshot documents the type of vintage ladder truck and the Villas-area purchase lead, but it is not by itself proof of payment.

Delco's Steaks Trolley Makes Teachers' Last Day

In a FOX 29 station video, Jenn Frederick rides the Delco Steaks trolley as cheesesteaks are delivered to Philadelphia teachers on their last day. The segment shows the trolley in public use, with the station's own reporter aboard for the delivery.
